Hampton Richardson Coleman Smith Award

This award is for graduate students in the Department of Art and Design at SIUE who exhibit excellence in painting and art history, and to honor four faculty members, Michael Smith, Phillip Hampton, Floyd Coleman and John Richardson, who worked closely for many years with SIUE’s graduate art students. The decision as to the use of the available funds will be determined on an annual basis by the Chair of the Department of Art & Design in consultation with the painting and studio faculty.
