Racial and Social Justice Scholarship Endowment

As part of SIUE’s commitment to end racism and promote social justice, the University is proud to announce the creation of the Racial and Social Justice Scholarship.

Each year, SIUE will select student(s) designated as “Scholar(s) for Racial Justice.” Student(s) will be selected based on a demonstrated commitment to anti-racism and a desire to deepen and enrich their dedication to this cause at SIUE and beyond. Applicants may be current students or incoming first-year students. The student(s) will receive a scholarship each year. The scholarship is renewable for each year of enrollment, provided the student(s) remain in good academic standing and maintain their commitment to Racial Justice/Social Justice/Anti-Racism efforts demonstrated by fulfilling the spirit of the scholarship.
