Bill & Jean Luan STEAM Scholarship - College of Arts and Sciences

This scholarship is available to a graduate or undergraduate student majoring in the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) related majors of Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Physics, Art & Design or Mathematics and Statistics.

Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above, and complete an essay of no more than 500 words on “My inspiration in using my SIUE degree to make the world a better place.”

Additional preferred criteria will be students showing an aptitude for innovation, and demonstrated applying interest and knowledge in STEAM majors to create solutions or applications for improving education and business to make the world a better place.

Recipients will be selected by a committee appointed by the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences.
