Ella Ott Weisman Award in Chemistry

The Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs will determine how many awards in $50 increments can be distributed within the University for a particular year and inform the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Foundation. Each award will be named for one of the honorees and if there are more than five, this process will be repeated, recognizing the honorees in the order listed in the Stipulation of the Ott Family Endowment. A committee will be appointed which will determine the criteria for an award that particular year, select the recipients, and inform the Dean, Chairperson, or Director who appointed the committee. He/she in turn will advise the appropriate University officials and the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Foundation for necessary action.
