SIR Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship is open to a full-time student majoring in Social Work.

Students will be recommended and selected by a panel of faculty in the Department of Social Work based upon their academic achievement and desire to make the world a better place by obtaining their degree. Preference will be given to students whose career goals are to acknowledge and address social injustice who have a strong desire to advocate peace, love and become a voice for the voiceless around the globe regardless of their religion, color, ethnicity, social class and gender for and assist the people who need help the most.
It is anticipated the amount of the award will be $1,000 but shall be dependent on funds available.
