La'Trina D. Brown Memorial Scholarship

The La’Trina Brown Memorial Scholarship support for SIUE students majoring in any area within the College of Arts & Sciences. Students are selected in the Spring and awarded the funding the following Fall semester. Selection criteria is as follows:
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

Preference will be given to the following, however all students are encouraged to apply:
o African American female students;
o Students from Venice or Madison, IL, if no students from Venice or Madison IL are eligible, students from East St. Louis, IL may be considered;
o Students with demonstrated financial need

It is anticipated the award shall be $1,000 annually, but shall be dependent on funds available.
