David A. Harrison Scholarship

To provide scholarship support for SIUE Students within the College of Arts & Sciences majoring in Social Work. Criteria for selection is as follows:

• Must be a graduate or undergraduate student majoring in Social Work
• Must submit a 500 word essay on their personal experience with homelessness, their professional experience working with the homeless or their desire to work with the homeless populations upon graduation

Preference will be given to students who volunteer with homeless projects

Recipients will be chosen by a committee assigned by the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences. Award amounts are anticipated to be $200 annually but shall be dependent on funds available.
