Ina Peabody Sledge Award

The Ina Peabody Sledge Award is given to undergraduate students, in good standing, with a cumulative grade-point average of 2.5 or above. Preference is given to residents of Alorton, Brooklyn, Centreville, East St. Louis, Venice, and Washington Park. Applicants will be selected on the following criteria that embody the positive ideology of Ina Peabody Sledge: a strong pursuit of educational goals, strong character and moral fortitude, a caring, motivated, and giving attitude and active community involvement. Applicants should include a list of activities, community service, and honors, three letters of reference and an essay, approximately 500 words, double spaced, on your life’s ambition addressing the above criteria.
