Jared Fryman Scholarship

To provide scholarship support to SIUE students within the Department of Applied Health. Criteria for selection is as follows:

• Must be sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student majoring in Exercise Science, Nutrition or Exercise Physiology
• GPA 3.0 or above
• Must be a veteran of the armed services who has an honorable discharge from their respective branch of service, verified with a copy of discharge papers
• Must submit a short essay (no longer than 1 page double-spaced) on the topic "What I plan to achieve with my education to my career goals.

The recipient of this award will write a Thank you letter to the donor and Jared Fryman; this letter will be delivered to the dean.
