Martha Welch Women's Studies Award

One or more annual award to be recognized at the University Honors Day Program. The amount of the award(s) will be determined by the earnings of the endowment and at the discretion of the Committee assigned to select the recipient and designated by the Director of Women’s Studies.
The recipient should meet the following criteria:

• Undergraduate student at SIUE
• B or better average
• Successfully completed at least one course in the field of Women’s Studies
• Demonstrates leadership characteristics in women’s issues at a campus or community level and/or outstanding performance in research or scholarship in the field of Women’s Studies.
