Interfraternity Council (IFC) Values Scholarship
Award will be used to recognize a worthy member of the Interfraternity community to assist with education costs. Recipients will be chosen based on the following preferred criteria:
- An active member of the SIUE Interfraternity Council community
- Good standing within the SIUE Interfraternity Council as well as in their individual chapter
- Minimum GPA of 2.5
- Must complete an application which includes an essay about aspects of the Interfraternity experience and a timely topic related to Fraternity and Sorority Life. The topic will be determined by the Interfraternity Council. Applications can be found on the Get Involved, the SIUE student organization management website
This scholarship is renewable. The Associated Director of the Kimmel Student Involvement Center will work with members of the Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) staff to appoint the selection committee with may include representation from the Kimmel Student Involvement Center and the Interfraternity community. The member(s) of the Interfraternity community would serve as ex-officio member(s) of the selection committee and would not have a vote in the final selection of the scholarship recipient.
