Gracia Myers Scholarship (Education)

Scholarship to be used in support of SIUE students within the School of Education, Health and Human Behavior. The recipient of this scholarship will be selected based on the following criteria:

  • Be a junior or senior majoring in Education
  • Must have attended or received a degree from a Community College in either Illinois or Missouri
  • Must be committed to volunteering within their community and submit three letter of references regarding volunteer services
  • Must submit a 500 word essay on an event that changed their perspective on how they think about or view the world today

All essay and letters of reference should be sent to the School of Education Health and Human Behavior for the yearly award. The recipient(s) of this scholarship will be selected by a committee designated by the Dean of the School of Education, Health and Human Behavior.
