Jerry Frances Sitek Information Systems Award

Scholarship support for a female Management Information Systems student. Criteria for selection is as follows:

• Major in Computer Management Information Systems
• Female
• Grade point average of B or better

Preference will be given to the returning mature student who normally would not be recognized for scholastic achievement.

As part of the annual Honors Day Program, an award of at least $100 will be made to a female student majoring in CMIS. Recipients will be chosen by a committee of faculty appointed by the chair of the Department of Computer Management and Information Systems. If in the judgement of the committee no qualified person is available in a given year, no award will be granted in that year. In addition to the award, the name of the student will be placed on a plaque displayed in the department area.
