Patricia Agnes Kernan Tierney Kettman Scholarship

Scholarship support for SIUE students in the School of Education, Health and Human Behavior’s Elementary or Secondary Education Programs. Criteria for selection is as follows:

• Incoming or current Freshman
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above
• Must be pursuing a degree in Elementary or Secondary Education Program within the School of Education, Health and Human Behavior

Preference will be given to a student from East St. Louis, however, if no applicant is available from East St. Louis who meets the required criteria above, applicants from other geographical locations will be considered.

Recipients will be chosen by a committee appointed by the Chair of the Department of Teaching and Learning which shall be made up of faculty members from within that department. It is anticipated the award will be $2,000 annually but shall be dependent upon funds available. The number of annual awardees is at the discretion of the Chair of Teaching and Learning Department.
