Eileen E. Hoffman Scholarship Endowment

The purpose of this scholarship is to honor the memory of Eileen E. Hoffman and her lifelong efforts to help support her family by providing scholarship support for mothers enrolling at SIUE who wish to further their education.

The recipients will be chosen through a process established by the Office of Student Financial Aid. Preference will be given to single mothers, mothers returning to school and mothers demonstrating financial need, however, all individuals are encouraged to apply. Other criteria are as follows:

• Must have a High School or transfer GPA of 2.75 or above

Recipients must write a letter of thanks and be available to meet with the sponsor if possible. The amount of the scholarship shall be determined by the amount of funds available. This award may be used for tuition or applied to other educational costs.
