Ralph F. Korte Scholarship Endowment for Construction Management

The Ralph F. Korte Scholarship was established in the School of Engineering to recognize Ralph Korte’s 50 years of service to the Korte Company and highlight the value that Mr. Korte placed on his education at SIUE. Recipients must be beginning freshmen planning a career in construction management; minimum high school GPA of 3.0; have a record of leadership and/or service and a positive record in all aspects of his/her high school career; demonstrate financial need. This award is automatically renewed annually if the recipient maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the freshman year. This award can continue for up to four years, with graduation expected with a degree in construction management at that time. Preference will be given to female and minority applicants, but all interested persons are encouraged to apply.
