Richard and Patricia Dremuk Study Abroad Award

The purpose of this opportunity is to support research and scholarly related travel for students. This award will support study abroad travel for a summer program of at least 28 days, a semester or a year.

Awards will be limited to travel in the Western hemisphere in countries other than the United States that speak Spanish, Portuguese and French as their primary language – Canada and Mexico are excluded. Student travel funds can be used to support the following expenses within reasonable limits:

  1. Air, train, bus, or taxi fare
  2. Car or van rental
  3. Gas (if traveling by personal vehicle)
  4. Lodging expenses

Students must apply at least six months before they are scheduled to depart. Applications are reviewed by the Study Abroad Office. Travel support cannot be provided for travel that has already occurred.
Note that students applying in the Spring cycle would study abroad the following Spring due to the 6 month lead time.
