Juanita Jean Riley Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship will be used to provide financial assistance to SIUE School of Engineering students. Criteria for selection is as follows:

• Must be an African American or Black, full-time enrolled Sophomore or Junior Engineering student
• Must demonstrate academic excellence, which can include but is not limited to volunteer work, student organization participation and engineering related employment or research
• Must demonstrate financial need

Preference will be give to students who are from St. Clair or Madison County in Illinois or St. Louis, Missouri.

The selection committee will be appointed by the Dean of the School of Engineering. The amount of the scholarship is anticipated to be (2) awards of $3,000 annually but will be dependent on funds available.
