Dr. Ik-Ju Kang Student Award in Physics

Scholarship support for students majoring or minoring in Physics. Criteria for selection is as follows:

• Must show evidence of interest in the physical sciences and be promising students with excellent grade point average
• Undergraduate or Graduate student

Award may be used to assist with the educational costs of attending SIUE and previous recipients are eligible to reapply for the award. Previous recipients are eligible to reapply for the award.

Recipients will be selected by a committee composed of the Chair of the Department of Physics and two (2) Physics faculty members. The Committee has the authority to develop the application procedures as well as determine the number of awards and the amount, based on available earnings of each award to be made in a given year.
