Kenneth & Virginia Scroggins Memorial Jazz Scholarship

Scholarship support for SIUE students enrolled/participating in the jazz program in the Department of Music. Criteria for selection is as follows:

• GPA of 2.5 or above

The recipient shall be chosen by a committee of Jazz faculty as appointed by the chair of the Music department. The committee may choose to renew a recipient’s scholarship, if the recipient continues to meet the established criteria but for no longer than 8 semesters. The scholarship is intended to provide significant help to a student per year and should only be awarded to additional students if enough funds are available to provide at least $750 per recipient.
