Kenneth & Virginia Scroggins Memorial Jazz Scholarship

This scholarship is available to anyone enrolled/participating in the jazz program in the Department of Music at SIUE. The recipient shall be chosen by a committee of Jazz faculty as appointed by the chair of the music department. The recipient will maintain a GPA of 2.5 to maintain the scholarship. The committee may choose to renew a recipient’s scholarship, if the recipient continues to meet the established criteria. The scholarship may not be renewed for more than a total of 8 semesters. The amount of the scholarship will be determined by the amount of earnings available; however, the scholarship is intended to provide significant help to a student per year and should only be awarded to additional students if enough funds are available to provide at least $750 per recipient.
