Dave Johnson & Michael Newton Scholarship

This scholarship will be used to provide support to undergraduate students majoring in Theater & Dance at SIUE. Criteria for selection is as follows:

Undergraduate student Majoring in Theater and Dance
Must submit 25 word essay on each of the following topics:

• Who do you look up to and why?
• Why do you want to make Theater or Dance your career?

Preference shall be given to male students and to those demonstrating financial need. The scholarship will be non-recurring, awarded to a new student each year.

Recipients will be chosen by a committee appointed by the Chair of the Department of Theater and Dance in accordance with guidelines established by the Department.
