Dr. Carl Lossau Distinguished Student in Geography Award

Scholarship support for SIUE students majoring in Geography. Criteria for selection is as follows:

• An undergraduate currently registered at SIUE with a declared major in Geography
• High academic achievement in the field of Geography
• All other things being equal, financial need may be considered as a determining factor

Recipients will be selected by a committee appointed by the Chair of the Department of Geography. The amount of the award will be dependent on the funds available in any given year. An award should be for a minimum of $200. Additional awards may be given at the discretion of the committee if funds are available. The award is a one-time only award.
