Distinguished Student in Italian Language Honors Day Award

An annual Honors Day award shall be made based on the following restrictions: 1) The student(s) shall be registered in or have completed during the current academic year, a course in Italian through the Department of Languages and Literature at SIUE. 2) The student(s) shall demonstrate academic achievement in the study of Italian as indicated by a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher in the Italian class undertaken at SIUE. 3) A minimum of $100 will be given as the designated amount of the award. 4) The number of awards are to be determined by the selection committee based on the availability of the funds at the time of selection. 5) The Chair of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature shall appoint a committee of faculty to select the award recipient(s).
