The Myra Lee Rogier Lesiak Memorial Scholarship

The Department of Music’s scholarship committee will award one or more scholarships, dependent upon funds available.

• The recipient will demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid.
• All other qualifications being equal, preference will be given to an Illinois residents.
• The scholarship is open to both vocal and instrumental undergraduate, full-time students.
• The scholarship may be used for educational costs associated with attending SIUE.

Each year the scholarship committee will review recipient’s progress. Upon the results of this review, the committee may choose to award the scholarship to the previous year’s recipient or to a new recipient.
