Industrial Engineering Scholarship for Freshmen & Transfer Students

Industrial Engineering is a unique discipline that combines engineering and management. Industrial Engineering is one of the most rewarding careers. The graduates are highly sought after, currently with an average starting salary of $75,000. Industrial engineering graduates find jobs in manufacturing, aerospace, and service industries such as health care, transportation, logistics, etc.

To be eligible, applicants must have a minimum Math ACT 29 or the equivalent and GPA 3.3, and must must declare an IE major to receive the scholarship, which will be disbursed over two years. The students who receive IE Scholarships will be recognized on SOE Honor Day in spring 2024.

The Industrial Engineering (IE) Program of the School of Engineering (SOE) at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) will provide a one-time scholarship of $5,000 to each selected transfer student (2 scholarships to be awarded) and a one-time scholarship of $2,500 to each selected first-year student (4 scholarships to be awarded) starting in spring 2024.

SIUE has an excellent industrial engineering program whose graduates are placed in very rewarding jobs in the industry across the nation and internationally.
