Dr. Emil Jason Memorial Award in Chemistry

Scholarship support for SIUE students majoring in Chemistry. Criteria for selection is as follows:

  • Major in Chemistry
  • Undergraduate student
  • GPA of 2.5.

A selection committee composed of a member of the Edwardsville NAACP, the Chair of the Chemistry Department, and/or faculty as appointed by the Chair of the Chemistry Department. A member of the Jason family may be an ex-officio member of the selection committee, but may not participate in the final selection of the recipient. The amount of the award should be at least $500, depending on the amount of funds available.
