Gordon D. Bush Political Science Scholarship
The recipient(s) of this scholarship will be chosen by a committee established by the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences. The recipient(s) will be chosen based on consideration of the following criteria: full-time junior level student majoring in Political Science; GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicants must submit an essay on an urban politics topic.
The 2023-24 topic is “Race relations have been a longstanding issue in American politics. What should elected officials do to address this issue and improve race relations in the United States?” This essay should be 1,000 words in length, and should be typed in 12-pt font. The essay must contain appropriately cited references and citations using either the APSA, MLA, APA, or Chicago styles. Page numbers and an essay title should also be included.
