Ben Ober Honors Award in Philosophy
The Ben Ober Honors Award in Philosophy is awarded annually in recognition for outstanding academic performance in a Philosophy course or courses during the academic year. Criteria for award is as follows:
- Full-time Undergraduate student
Annually faculty of Philosophical Studies will be asked to nominate their outstanding student and briefly indicate via a support letter, the rationale behind the nomination . A selection committee composed of the Chair of the Philosophy Department or his representative, the Undergraduate Advisor and the Graduate Advisor, will choose the successful candidate from among those nominated. The award is not restricted to Philosophy majors or minors, but is open to all full-time under-graduate students who attend philosophy classes during the particular year.
