Ambassador Hussein Moussawi International Travel Scholarship

Scholarship to be used to provide support to SIUE students in the College of Arts & Sciences for international travel and study. Criteria for award are as follows:

  • GPA must be 3.0 or above
  • Submission of an essay of not more than 1,000 words outlining student’s goals, interests and future plans

Preference will be given to students interested in Middle Eastern travel and study.

A scholarship review committee will be appointed by the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences and shall be chaired by the Director of International Studies. One family representative is to be included in the review discussion up to the point of recipient selection.
