Ringeisen-Ruckh Senior Book Collection Award Endowment

The Ann Kania-Ringeisen and Elizabeth R. and Eugene W. Ruckh Senior Book Collection Award Endowment recognizes and promotes the development of personal scholarly libraries. This book collection award is designed to support a graduating senior that has built their own personal library of books that enhance their scholarly focus or personal interest.

  1. In a sentence or less, please describe the focus of your current collection (for example, 'The French Revolution,' or 'Techniques, Meaning, and History of Golf").
  2. Please provide a bibliographic list of 50 or less books/items that you have already collected to enhance your scholarly focus or personal interest. This list must be formatted into an appropriate citation style.
  3. Please provide a one-to-two page statement that does three things: 1) provides a rationale and explanation behind the development of your current collection; 2) explains how the books you have already collected will help you with your future endeavors, and; 3) briefly explains how you will use the award to enhance your collection.
