Dr. David Schwartz Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for SIUE students pursuing a degree within the College of Arts and Sciences. Recipients will be chosen based on the following preferred criteria:
• GPA of 3.5 or above, including incoming freshman
• Considerable demonstrated financial need
• Provide a letter of recommendation or reference from a teacher or a professor
• Show outstanding work in their chosen field
The scholarship(s) amount will cover tuition, housing and fees based on funds available and is eligible to be renewed for up to four years providing all criteria are met. Recipients will be selected by a panel of faculty appointed by the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences and shall include an independent third party provided by the donor’s attorney and or the executor of the estate.
