Walgreens Diversity & Inclusion Excellence Scholarship

Scholarship support for currently enrolled students in the School of Pharmacy. Criteria for selection is as follows:

• Embraces diversity and promotes diversity and inclusion awareness initiatives on campus
• Must submit an essay to the scholarship committee explaining how they have made significant efforts toward raising awareness or playing an active role in education others about diversity and inclusion related matters impacting the pharmacy profession
• GPA of 2.5 or above on a 4.0 scale
• Must not be a previous recipient of the Walgreens Diversity and Inclusion Excellence Award

Preference should be given to a current Walgreen employee, however all students are encouraged to apply. Recipients must consent to release their name and photo for use by Walgreens by completing the media talent release form.

Recipients will be chosen by a committee assigned by the Dean of the School of Pharmacy in accordance with procedures established by the School and/or the University. Award amounts will be determined by funds available but is expected to be $2,000 annually.
