Dave Johnson & Michael Newton Scholarship

This scholarship will be used to provide support to undergraduate students majoring in Theater & Dance at SIUE. Criteria for selection is as follows:

• Undergraduate student Majoring in Theater and Dance

Donor also request consideration of a student who:

• Would not traditionally pursue a degree in Theater & Dance
• Demonstrate financial need
• Submit a 25-word essay on each of the following topics:
• Who do you look up to and why?
• Why do you want to make Theater or Dance your career?

The scholarship will be non-recurring, awarded to a new student each year. Recipients will be chosen by a committee appointed by the Chair of the Department of Theater and Dance in accordance with guidelines established by the Department.
