Jim and Julie McPike Scholarship Endowment

To provide scholarship support for students in the SIUE College of Arts & Sciences or the SIUE School of Engineering. Criteria for selection is as follows:

• Must be a Junior or Senior SIUE student
• Must be majoring in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math or Engineering

Preference will be given in the following order:
- Demonstrated financial need
- Outstanding merit in their studies

Recipients will be selected by a committee appointed by the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences and the Dean of the School of Engineering. Awards will alternate years between the College or Arts & Sciences and the School of Engineering, will cover complete tuition and fee costs for one year and may be renewable for a second year if determined by the selection committee. Distribution shall not be made for partial scholarships. In the years where sufficient funding is not available, the award will be held until a full scholarship can be funded within $500 of total tuition and fee costs.
