James R. Anderson Memorial Housing Scholarship

The James Anderson Housing Scholarship provides scholarship support for a University Housing resident, in memory of Jim Anderson, former Associate Director. Scholarship applicants must be academically motivated housing residents who demonstrate leadership through community service, leadership development, and whole person development. Preference will be given to applicants who are from Chicago area and have been involved in University Housing activities.

Recipients will be chosen by a Committee of staff members made up of representatives of University Housing and Student Financial Aid as appointed by the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. Award amount is anticipated to be $1,000 per semester to be used toward on campus housing costs for two semesters, but shall be dependent on funds available.
