MilliporeSigma Student Grant

Scholarship support for outstanding students in Chemistry or Biology students. Criteria for selection is as follows:

• Major in Chemistry (or Biology if the applicant pool needs to be broadened)
• Junior or Senior status
• Grade point average of 2.5 or above
• Live in the greater St. Louis metropolitan region
• Must have previous employment history, part-time, full-time or internship. Previous work history in the field of chemistry is a plus.
• Must demonstrate interest in an industrial chemistry career
• Must be a well-rounded individual as evidenced by breath of study, extra-curricular activities and/or work/volunteer experiences

Recipients will be chosen through a competition or application process conducted by the Department of Chemistry. MilliporeSigma representatives may participate in the selection of the top two candidates from which the Chemistry faculty will choose the final recipient. Representatives from MilliporeSigma may not be involved in the final selection of the recipient. This is a one-time (non-renewable) grant and may be used to help with educational costs of attending SIUE.
