Dr. Charles Alvin Wentz Jr. American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Scholarship Endowment

Scholarship support for officers of the SIUE student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Criteria for selection is as follows:

• Must be an elected officer of the ASCE – President, Vice-President, Secretary or Treasurer
• Must perform their duties as officers satisfactorily according to the respective position description and attend chapter meetings as documented by the faculty advisor of the group

Students are limited to receiving this scholarship up to two times as an elected officer. Students cannot receive a scholarship for holding the same office twice, however, a student can hold two different elected offices and receive the scholarship for each respective position held. Awards will be presented in conjunction with Honors Day as follows: President – $400, Vice-President – $300, Secretary – $150 and Treasurer – $150.
