Western Construction Group Scholarship

Scholarship support for SIUE students majoring in Construction Management. Criteria for selection is as follows:

• Full-time Sophomore or Junior undergraduate student
• Major in Construction Management
• GPA of 2.5 or above
• Must complete a scholarship application from the SIUE School of Engineering
• Must submit a resume
• Must submit one letter of reference or recommendation from a teach, coach or other adult who is not an immediate relative
• Must submit a types essay of no more than on page double spaced on the following topic:
  – What does Specialty Contracting mean to you and why do you think this field of construction would be interesting to pursue.

Recipients will be selected by a committee appointed by the Chair of the Construction Department. Award amounts are anticipated to be $1,000 annually.
