Ric & Vonda Stephenson Scholarship Endowment in Education

Scholarship support within the SIUE School of Education, Health and Human Behavior’s Department of Teaching and Learning. Criteria for selection is as follows:

• Minimum GPA of 2.75
• Demonstrated financial need
• Declared major in any program within the Department of Teaching and Learning
• Submit an essay between 500-700 words answering the question “Why do you want to become a teacher?”

Recipients will be chosen by a committee appointed by the Dean of the School of Education, Health and Human Behavior.
Scholarship will be awarded based on funds available to one student with 50% awarded in the fall and 50% awarded in the spring.
