John and Dianne Carenza Olympic Legacy Men's Soccer Scholarship Endowment

Scholarship support for SIUE Intercollegiate Men’s Soccer athletes. Criteria for selection is as follows:

• Must exemplify the leadership and sportsmanship characteristics of All American and Olympian John Carenza, who carried the team to national prominence with a career record for goals (71) and a second in career assists (29)

Funds may be used as athletic aid in any category permissible by NCAA and institutional rules and will be allocated to student athletes selected by the Men’s Soccer coaching staff with approval by the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. Award amounts shall be based on available funds.
