Graduate Library School Award

The Friends of Lovejoy Library provide an award to an SIUE student or SIUE alumnus who excels in the study of library science and is planning to attend a graduate library science program after graduation. The awardee must either be a SIUE graduate or assured of graduation no later than the end of summer session the year the award is given. The awardee must be accepted for admission to a Master’s Program in Library Science accredited by the American Library Association in the fall semester following graduation. Applicants must submit a letter of interest relating to their future plans in librarianship and a letter of acceptance from an ALA accredited library program.

Recipients will be selected by criteria and procedures as established by the Friends of Lovejoy Library.
