Scholarship support within the SIUE School of Engineering’s Environmental Resources Training Center.

Criteria for the selection is a follows:

• Demonstrate financial need

Donors also request consideration of students who:

• Would no traditionally pursue a water operator certificate

Per the request of the donors, the scholarship should be awarded to one student enrolled in the 12-month water quality control operations certificate program. The scholarship should cover the cost of the one-year program, if funds are available, or will be awarded when there is more than eight percent (80%) the cost of the program in spendable earnings. The total scholarship will be paid in two installments, one at the beginning of the first semester and one at the beginning of the second semester. The student must be in good academic standing at mid-term to receive the second installment. Recipient(s) of this scholarship will be chosen by a committee appointed by the Dean of School of Engineering which shall be made up of faculty members from within that department.
