Sid and Mary Kay Masterson Scholarship Endowment

Scholarship support within the SIUE School of Education, Health and Human Behavior. Criteria for the selection are as follows:

• Declared major in Elementary Education
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Demonstrated financial need

Donor also requests consideration of student who attended school in the areas which she dedicated her career, i.e. Wood River, East Alton, Bethalto, Southwestern.

The amount of the award shall be $1,000/year for the first two years of the establishment of this fund and thereafter shall be based on funds available. Recipient(s) of this scholarship will be chosen by a committee appointed by the Dean of School of Education, Health and Human Behavior which shall be made up of faculty members from within that department in consulation with the Office of Student Financial Aid. The committee may elect to award all or part of the available funds to one student or to more than one student.
