Robert B. Hawkins Graduate Award
Scholarship support for outstanding Speech Communication Graduate students. Criteria for selection is as follows:
This award recognizes graduate students in Applied Communication Studies who demonstrate academic achievement, engagement, contributions to the discipline, and/or creativity.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must:
- Be an active graduate student in Applied Communication Studies at SIUE.
- Have completed 24 or more hours of graduate coursework by the end of the semester in which the award is given.
- Demonstrate a combination of one or more of the following:
- Outstanding academic achievement.
- Participation in outside activities.
- Visible contributions to the discipline.
- Creativity.
This Annual award will be made as part of the Honors Day Program. Recipients will be selected by the Speech Communication faculty.
