The recipient(s) of this scholarship will be chosen by a committee established by the Chair of the SIUE Music Department. The criteria for selection will include successful completion of an audition process conducted by the Music Department.

  • Recipients must maintain a “B” (3.0) grade point average.

The amount of the award will be a minimum of $5,000 ($2,500 per semester) per student with a maximum of 10 students in any one year receiving scholarships. The scholarship applies to books, tuition and/or fees ONLY. The maximum term of the scholarship is 4 years. If applicant fails to comply with any of the qualifications, he/she will not be funded for the next semester. However, if the applicant has extenuating circumstances that cause him/her to not be in compliance with the qualifications, the applicant can reapply.
