Dr. Charles Alvin Wentz Jr. National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Scholarship

The Dr. Charles Alvin Wentz Jr. National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Scholarship was established to provide scholarships to officers of the SIUE student chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). Recipients will be students elected to hold the office of President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer; must perform their duties as officers satisfactorily according to the respective position description, and attend chapter meetings, as documented by the faculty advisory of the group. Students are limited to receiving this scholarship up to two times as an elected officer while attending SIUE as an undergraduate or graduate student. Students cannot receive a scholarship for holding the same office twice, however, a student can hold two different elected offices and receive the scholarship for each respective position held.
