Regulus & Gilmore Social Work Student Award

One award of $500 per year (minimum) may be given to a student entering the Master of Social Work program who meets these qualifications: a) be enrolled as a first year, full-time student in the MSW program at SIUE b) demonstrate potential for high academic achievement in the field of social work with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0) in undergraduate course work. In addition, one award of $500 per year (minimum) may be given to a student who received this award in his/her first year of the MSW program at SIUE. (One student may receive a maximum of $1,000 over the two year period. A student may only receive this award for two academic years.) To qualify to receive the award for a second year, the student must: a) be enrolled as a continuing full-time student in the MSW program at SIUE; b) demonstrate potential for high academic achievement in the field of social work with a minimum GPA of 3.0 for course work during the first year in the program. The entering student or continuing student award will not be given if qualified candidates are not available in any given year.
