John Korak Award in Trumpet

This scholarship will be used to support an SIUE undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Music and enrolled in applied trumpet lessons (classical or jazz) with a GPA of 2.5 or above. Awards will be presented annually to the student who has made meaningful contributions to the Department of Music through a combination of ensemble participation and service. The recipient will be chosen by a committee comprised of the trumpet instructors and all major instrumental ensemble Directors. The amount of the award is anticipated to be $250 annually but shall be dependent on funds available.
