Graduate Library School Award

The Friends of Lovejoy Library provide an award to an SIUE student or SIUE alumnus who is planning to attend a graduate library science program after graduation. The awardee must either be a SIUE graduate or assured of graduation no later than the end of summer session the year the award is given. The awardee must be accepted for admission to a Master’s Program in Library Science accredited by the American Library Association in the fall semester following graduation. Applicants must submit a letter of interest relating to their future plans in librarianship and a letter of acceptance from an ALA accredited library program.
