Noble R. Thompson, III Memorial Award for Students with Disabilities

The Noble R. Thompson III Memorial Award for Students with Disabilities provides an Honors Day award in memory of Dr. Noble R. Thompson III and the work he did to improve the lives of students with visual impairments at SIUE. The recipient of this award will be a student with a visual impairment who has the highest grade point average of the students with visual impairments. The recipient will be selected by a committee appointed by the director of Disability Support Services. The amount of the award shall be determined by the committee, based on the amount of funds available at the time of the award.
